Wig & Hair Topper Hair Buying Guide
Online vs. In-Store
The final decision you'll need to make before purchasing a piece is whether
you want to go in-store or shop online.
I know that going in-store seems like a no-brainer. But online hair shopping
has come a seriously long way in recent years, and you might find that
shopping online is actually easier than finding a piece in-store.
Online
Shopping online for hair doesn't have to be
scary.
If the company you're shopping with offers free
virtual consults, a good returns policy and is
available to chat about colour, size, etc.,
shopping online can actually be EASIER than
going in store.
Online stores often have access to much higher
quality hair and a lot more variation. They can
sometimes even customise a piece especially
for you.
Of course, when shopping online, you can't try
the piece on your head. However, as long as
they have a solid returns policy, you can try the
piece on in the comfort of your own home,
spend a few days with your new piece and if it's
not right for you, you can return.
In-Store
The main benefit of trying a piece on
in-store is that you get to try the piece
on your head. You get to see and feel
it for yourself.
However, in-store shops often don't
have the variety of options that online
stores do. They're also often more
generic pieces which aren't designed
for women with hair loss.'
