2022-2023 Collaborative Projects:
Acadia National Park – teamed up for webinars
and trainings; our staff grew native herbaceous
and woody plants in the greenhouses to be
planted in the park.
College of the Atlantic – stored our plant
vouchers at the school’s herbarium;
participated in Earth Day celebration;
supported student projects and internships.
Bar Harbor Food Pantry – donated 847
pounds of produce and herbs, and 23 buckets
of cut 昀氀owers grown in our greenhouses.
Island Readers & Writers – hosted an author’s
reading of her book for a children’s story hour
at Thuya Garden.
ArtWaves – hosted plein air painters at the
Boathouse at Little Long Pond.
Donated plants to various local nonpro昀椀ts for
plant sales.
Made presentations to various garden clubs
and community groups.
