2020 was a
unique year.
We have all reimagined what spending time
with family, friends, and community looks like
– classrooms, weddings, graduations, birthday
parties, and happy hours existing as a window on
our screen instead of a crowded room. We have
reimagined what work looks like too, both for
those of us whose life now revolves around Zoom
and for those whose jobs in the service, retail,
and hospitality industries have fundamentally
changed. At Goodwill Houston, we’ve reimagined
what our mission looks like through the pandemic
and beyond – upgrading our stores, bringing our
services online, and finding new and innovative
ways to help those affected.
Though in spite of those challenges, our bonds
with each other are stronger than ever – despite
our distance, we are together in spirit.
