A Letter from the
Editor
It is with a heart overflowing with gratitude that I welcome you to this Reset Issue of God Works Magazine.
When I started this publication back in 2010, my vision
was to shine a light on the countless individuals walking
through immense adversity yet still choosing to persevere
in faith, hope and love. Over the years, we've been
blessed to feature inspiring voices like Martha Munizzi,
Kari Jobe, Nick Vujicic, Dr. Myles Munroe and so many
more.
However, this Reset Issue marks a pivotal new beginning
for God Works. After over a three decade's journey that
has included becoming a teen mother, grappling with the
trauma of an abortion, enduring abusive relationships,
periods of being held against my will, losing my father to
gun violence, facing homelessness, a cancer scare, and
more - there were many seasons where my own mustard
seed of faith was stretched nearly to its limit.
In 2013, after the heartbreaking loss of an Isaac Carree
interview audio file due to technical difficulties, I allowed
that disappointment to feed a storm of doubt within me.
For a long while after that, the idea of continuing to pour
myself into this magazine felt too daunting among the
other struggles I was wading through.
Yet that eternal flicker of hope could never be extinguished. I realized that giving up on God Works would be
akin to surrendering the profound resilience of the human
spirit that this magazine was created to honor and uplift.
So here I stand today, a woman resurrected from the
depths and RESET in her conviction. My own journey

has been a
searing reminder that we
all must
choose, time
and again, to
reset our
minds, spirits,
and lives in
order to reawaken to our callings and reclaim the brilliance within us.
In this issue, you'll hear the voices of others who have
boldly walked that reset path - evolving through unimaginable pain, peeling off layers of generational trauma, and
leaning into the guided journey of rebirth, no matter how
slow or messy. These are stories of resilience that will
reignite your own.
While I cannot say the path ahead will be easy, I can affirm that you are being invited to participate in a great
rewilding - a return to the essence of who you are and
were birthed to be. May the messages within these pages
be like seeds taking root, reminding you that your rebirth
is possible and inevitable, for you were fashioned in the
image of the Great RESETTER.
I'm humbled and honored to share these voices with you
as guideposts for our collective reset. May they be reflections of the radiance within you, shining brighter than you
ever imagined, even in the midst of the long journey
home.
