n her brand-new book, Through the Storm, Joni
Lamb is recounting how an unshakable faith in
Christ has been the guide-post keeping her steady
throughout some of her greatest triumphs and losses in life.
"On the air I've always tried to be real, letting you see the
authentic me, even when personally going through my own
turbulent storms, and there have been many," Lamb
writes. "In this book, however, we're going to walk back
through some of my most challenging storms so you can
get the whole story, the real story."
Using some of her own devastating experiences and monumental victories, Joni offers readers both a glimpse into
her life and the opportunity to find solace, purpose and
hope within their own journeys.
"We're talking personal betrayal, lies, false accusations,
public humiliation, ridiculous lawsuits," Lamb writes. "Yet,
you're also going to see God's sustaining peace, resurrection power, and loving restoration along with some startling answers to prayer when I needed the Lord to come
through most. We believed God. We stood on His word,
and we overcame."
Through the Storm shares a profound wisdom, resilience
and insight about what it means to cling to Christ in all
circumstances.
"Through the Word, the Holy Spirit guiding, godly counsel
and friends, the Lord has never failed me. He's been my
anchor and lighthouse through some of the most heartwrenching, violent storms and has always seen me through
to the other side to new beginnings."
Through the Storm, published by Charisma House, is
available online and everywhere Christian books are sold.
