y name is Brittney
Ball. I grew up in
Bossier City, LA,
graduating from Airline H.S,
Northwestern State University
for undergrad and Louisiana
Tech University with a M.A. in
Counseling and Guidance. I am
a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Louisiana and
Texas. I am a believer in God, a
daughter, sister, friend, business
owner and author. The road to
entrepreneurship has been one
with challenges and successes,
for which I am grateful for them
all.
After graduating with my master9s degree, it was difficult to
get hired in my hometown without being a licensed professional; this caused me to expand my
career search out of the area. I
landed a Center Director position for a tutoring center in Irving, TX. One of my first bouts
of being blind-sided regarding

job insecurity came with this position. I was hired while the
owner was preparing to sell the
location, unbeknownst to me.
