Can you describe the importance of having a
supportive community or network for women
who have experienced trauma?
Certainly! Validation and belonging; also emotional support. Ultimately having
a supportive community/
network provides the women
a sense of safety and trust. I
assure them that being a part
of a community whether it’s
in person or online is a very
crucial part of their healing
journey. It will allow them to
regain their trust of others by
opening up and sharing their
stories all while receiving
support in a NO JUDGEMENT zone.
What inspired you to host
the Reset & Release Vision
Board Party event, and
what was the signi昀椀cance
behind that event?
What inspired me to host the
"Reset & Release" Vision
Board Party was to create a
space where women can
come together, share their
stories and build relationships with others who
understand and empathize with their journey. All
while creating an engaging and supportive community for RESET.
The signiocance behind it was ultimately community support and connection. Also emphasizing the
importance of empowerment and intention setting. By creating the vision boards participants
were able to actively engage in deoning their goals,
dreams and aspirations all while taking ownership
of their healing journey.
How do events like the Vision Board Party complement the one-on-one Reset calls and healing
process?
The vision board parties reinforce accountability.
It allows them the opportunity to discuss their vision boards sharing their goals and intentions.
Verbalizing and sharing their aspirations can help
solidify their commitment and
create a sense of accountability.
Vision Board parties also introduce them to various tools,
techniques, and practices that
support the healing process.
This includes guided visualizations, aormations, goal setting
strategies and mindfulness exercises. Experiencing and
learning these tools in a group
setting such as the Vision
Board party allows the individuals to integrate them into
their personal healing practices. This all beneots them in
their one-on-one RESET calls.
For women who may be hesitant to seek help or share
their stories, what advice or
encouragement would you
o昀昀er them?
I would advise them to take their time and start
small because their journey is personal! I also
would encourage them to remember their strength
and who they REALLY ARE.
As you continue to grow Reset, what are your
future goals or plans for expanding the support
and resources available to women?
As I continue to grow Reset, I have ambitious goals
and plans to expand the support and resources
available to women worldwide. Firstly, I envision
expanding Reset as a global speaking platform, not
