Everything you
NEED to know about
Wedding Stationery
Wedding stationery 3 is one of the ultimate ways to sprinkle a personal
touch over your unique celebration of love! The right bridal stationery
should reflect your taste and let your guests know that you appreciate
their presence. It sounds nice and simple. But as soon as you start looking
for stationery items and realise how much there is to do, you may get
overwhelmed. No need to fret!
The best way to tackle the issue at hand is to create a wedding stationery
checklist. Doing this will ensure that you don’t forget anything while
keeping it in check with the theme. Here, we take a deep dive into
wedding stationery and provide the checklist with items that are typically
overlooked yet are quite needed.
Save the Date Cards
Once you’ve set a date for your wedding, you may want to send out
save-the-date stationery. Unlike wedding invitations, these cards are
optional and include very little information. The only things that should be
listed on this card are the couple's names, the date, and the town or city
where the event will take place. If you have a dedicated wedding website,
you may also include it on the invitation. At this point in the stationery
selection process, you need to decide on a style. The save-the-date cards
should be in the same style as the rest of the stationery. Just like the
invitations, the cards are usually in A7 format.
Wedding Invitations
The main piece of stationery for each wedding is the wedding invitation,
as it contains all the necessary information about the event. Besides the
couple’s name and the names of the families, stationery invitations
include the exact date and time of the celebration, as well as the venue
name and its exact location. Like their engagement counterpart, the
wedding ones come in A7 format. Envelopes are optional, depending on
how formal you want them to look. The stationery invitations need to be
sent out 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding so everyone has enough time
to RSVP.
RSVP Cards
Even though more and more people RSVP to weddings online, it’s good
etiquette to include RSVP cards along with the invitations. If you prefer
your guests to RSVP online, you should include the website information
on the card and list the reply date. You can also opt for the traditional
approach and leave space for guests to write their responses, then send
the cards via mail. If you decide on the second option, include addressed
and stamped envelopes. The RSVP cards are smaller than the invitations
4 they shouldn’t be larger than A6 and be in the same style as the
wedding invites.
Rehearsal Dinner Invitations

Rehearsal dinners signify the start of the wedding celebrations. However,
they are by no means mandatory. Couples often choose not to host a
rehearsal dinner or have a very small gathering with their closest family
