v “Rest.” Involves providing times and places of peace and quiet.
v “Recuperation.” Provision of pastoral or psychological counseling and advice,
and physical and mental health therapies.
v “Recreation.” A means of stress relief and family bonding.
v “Respite.” Specific care provision of medical and physical needs of a disabled
veteran while their caregiver is taking a respite break from daily care.
v “Reception.” Involves the receiving of education, information, and resources.
