For the Biochar to impact the compost, I believe I should
have added more Biochar and mixed it better, but now
it needs to rest for at least a couple of months to see if it
changes the density, moisture or temperature of the pile.
The next step was to clean the prepared growing bed.
Maria and I got rid of unwanted weeds, and I dug a line in the length of the bed with about 15cm
depth. Then, I mixed a bucket with fresh compost soil with a charged Biochar ratio of 1:10 and applied
it along the furrow. Every 20cm in length, I put a handful of nutritious compost/biochar mix and spread
it evenly. Then, I covered the furrow with older soil and straw to ensure moisture and nutrient retention.
The following steps are to plant and observe behaviour compared to average soil.
Maria is going to take this step without me, as I will not be in Barcelona during the growth period.

posthuman-ist, we are all compost
not posthuman”
