After trying many techniques of giving three-dimensional shape to ground or chunky biochar as a composite, I turned back to on of my earliest experiments
and most traditional way of building, by using local
soil from El Prat.
I collected the soil near the Nature Reservoir in the
Llobregat Delta, where the ground is high in organic
matter, easily malleable and quickly airdrying. This
soil feels and behaves like clay, but according to Maria
Roy its amount of silt makes it not comparable with
clay. Nevertheless, I would have liked to conduct more
reearch on the soil, as part of the building material
and as the battery that the biocharged material is supposed to charge. These are next steps, of taling to soil
scientists and undeerstand soil as a building aterial
that can work in symbniosis nwith Biochar and urine (
Biocharged )
