Family Ownership: According to the evidence from Spanish board members, being a family member is
how most board members get into the board. It is also observed that when a woman has no such
opportunities in her own family, many tend to establish their own companies because of the difficulties
they face regarding their gender in business life. These difficulties are mostly expressed as the challenge
