1. $391.5 million – State Of Louisiana In The Matter Of Google LLC, (La. Cir.
Ct. Nov. 9, 2022) (settlement reached in a class action brought by the attorneys
general of over 30 states to resolve allegations that Google tracks users'
locations even after they believe they have turned off the tracking feature in
violation of state privacy laws).
2. $100 million – Rivera, et al. v. Google LLC, Case No. 2019-CH-00990 (Ill. Cir.
Ct. Sept. 28, 2022) (final settlement approval granted in a class action alleging
violation of the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act).
3. $92 million – In Re Tiktok Inc. Consumer Privacy Litigation, Case No. 20CV-4699 (N.D. Ill. Aug. 22, 2022) (final settlement approval granted in a class
