2 | winter wonderland visit
DAY 1
• Arrive in Denali mid-morning to mid-afternoon.
Healy is a year-round community 12 miles north of Denali National Park, with year-round accommodations
and restaurants.
Daylight won’t last long, so use this day to settle in, take a walk in the snow, and see some of the Healy
community. Visit us at 452 Healy Spur Road, to learn more about the area and grab a Winter Brochure.

There are apps that will give you predictions on the likelihood of cooperating weather, and the intensity of
the display. You can also visit the website for the Alaska Geophysical Institute!

• Enjoy a leisurely morning, the sun isn’t up yet!
Visit the Denali National Park winter visitor center at the Murie Science & Learning Center
• Check out snow shoes and explore one of the trails.
