Obtaining a UCard
All SCI members are required to obtain a campus UCard to access external doors
and operate the elevator at WEB outside of normal business hours. Additionally,
UCards will be necessary for access to all SCI conference rooms.
Please ensure that you acquire your UCard promptly to facilitate seamless access
to these facilities and rooms.
WHERE IS THE UCARD OFFICE?
A. Ray Olpin Union building (200 S. Central Campus Dr.) in room 158. Hours are 8:00
AM 3 5:00 PM M-F, excluding University sanctioned campus closure days and
holidays.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO GET MY UCARD?
Please have your University Number Identiûcation (uNID) ready and available. They
may not be able to search you up by name due to multiple people having the same
name. The University of Utah requires a valid form of photo identiûcation to ensure
the UCard is made for the correct person. No information is recorded when your
identiûcation is submitted for veriûcation. This is designed to protect the privacy of
each University of Utah campus member.
HOW MUCH IS IT FOR A NEW UCARD?

The ûrst UCard is free to for-credit students, staW, and faculty.

The ûrst UCard is $10 for OSHER/HB60 students, vendors, and aWiliate
UCards.
¥
Replacement UCards for everyone are $20.
