“It’s all about visibility. There is no doubt that there have been
significant steps forward in the last decade or so in terms of female
visibility in brewing.
We’re seeing more women at industry events, more visibility of
women in marketing comms, and more women in senior
leadership positions. However, there is still more to be done.
If we want to fundamentally reshape the male-dominated
backbone of beer we need to encourage the next generation to take
up the mantle. If you can see it, you can be it - it’s up to every
woman in beer to continue to bang the drum, advocate allyship
and extol the virtues of this wonderful drink and industry.”
