THE SKATESIDE AFTERSCHOOL

Get outdoors and learn to skate the Culver City Skatepark with
THE SKATESIDE coaches. This program is open to beginner
and intermediate skaters. Participants will get safe, engaging
skateboarding instruction with time to socialize and decompress
after a day at school. No class on 3/30 and 5/30 .
Instructor: The Skateside Staff.
Location: Culver City Skate Park.
Note(s): All safety equipment is mandatory. This includes wrist
guards, knee pads, elbow pads,and helmet. You can purchase
equipment at least 48 hrs ahead of time to have it delivered the

The YSE afterschool is a unique sports and academic program.
YSE focuses on fun, learning, and developing life skills through
sports as well as games, music, and fitness activities as well as
teaching good sportsmanship. Academics are a priority; therefore, homework assistance and tutoring are offered.
The City of Culver City has several opportunities to
start you down the path towards the job you want!
Senior Recreation Leader: The Senior Recreation
Leader is the third level in the Recreation Leader
series. Classifications in this series organize, lead and
participate in the various recreation programs at City
parks, playgrounds, day camps, and other community
facilities on a part-time basis.

Recreation Leader II: A Recreation Leader II is
distinguished from a Recreation Leader I in that the
Recreation Leader II implements and takes the lead
on programs, performs more complex work requiring
greater skill and often supervises lower level Recreation Leaders. Classifications in this series organize,
lead and participate in the various recreation programs at City parks, playgrounds, day camps, and
other community facilities on a part-time basis.

Recreation Leader I: The Recreation Leader I is the
entry level classification in the Recreation Leader
series. Classifications in this series organize, lead and
participate in the various recreation programs at City
parks, playgrounds, day camps, and
other community facilities on a
part-time basis.

Location: Culver City Middle School Room 401
Note(s): Some months are price adjusted due to school holiday
breaks. All students are required to wear a mask at all times.

The PRCS Culver City Afterschool Recreation Program (CCARP)
locations are currently full and waitlists at each site have reached
capacity. We look forward to serving those on the wait lists as
space becomes available or staffing levels allow for program
