by following these rules:
Parks, and Tourism in May for National Water Safety
Month by taking the WATER SAFETY PLEDGE! Come
to one of the indoor pools to take the pledge! As a
thank you for pledging to be safe, you will receive
one free day of swimming. Limit one per person.
1.
Never swim alone.
2. Always obey all pool rules.
3. Stay away from drains and suction fittings.
4. Always enter the pool feet first.

Sign up today for the 2024 Summer Swim Team
operated by the Indian Head Torpedoes in
conjunction with the Department of Recreation,
Parks, and Tourism. Children age 5-18 will enjoy a
welcoming atmosphere of competitive swimming for
all skill levels.
All participants will experience a great coaching staff
that will enhance everyone's swimming performance.
Competitions are part of the Prince Mont Swim
League. Practices are held at Lackey High School
indoor pool. Practices are held Monday through
Friday (mornings and evenings). Swim meets are
held Saturday mornings.
This is a competitive swim team and NOT swim
lessons. New swimmers require a coach evaluation.
Children must be able to swim unassisted the length
of the pool in one stroke (Freestyle, Backstroke,
Breaststroke, or Butterfly).
