GAME ON Youth Field Hockey
GAME ON Field Hockey, also called GO Field Hockey, is an official standardized
small-sided game format played by boys and girls to learn basic game concepts in
a stage and age-appropriate setting. The game and its supporting resources aim
to provide players with a high quality first exposure to field hockey, irrespective of
ability and gender, in a safe and challenging environment. Sticks are available for
use. Shin guards and mouthpieces are required. Players and coaches receive a team
shirt. It is your responsibility to select the correct shirt size. Additional charge for
new shirt size. Practices will be held throughout the season beginning August 20.
Games held Saturday’s begin September 7. Leagues may be combined due to low
program enrollment. League is countywide. League age is as of September 1, 2024.

Regular season will be round-robin format with teams playing double-headers.
Teams must have a minimum of 12 players and no more than 20 players. Team,
individual, and small group player registration available. When registering as a small
group, individuals must register separately and indicate who they are registering with
during the registration process. Players must be 18+ and not eligible to participate
at the high school level.

Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton,
and table tennis. The rules are simple, and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but it can develop into a fast-paced, competitive game for
experienced players. Learn to play this fun and exciting game and then put
your skills to the test in friendly games. All necessary equipment is provided.
Dates and times subject to change. Pickleball is available at Port Tobacco
Recreation Center, and Waldorf Senior & Recreational Center. Contact the
facility directly for schedule changes. For up-to-date schedules, visit www.

Drop-In Racquetball
Youth Summer Kickball
Court usage is limited to one hour. Players must bring own equipment,
towel, and water bottle. Can practice racquetball or pickleball. No
drop-in May 25 and 27, July 4 and 12-13, and September 2.
Join us for this exciting, non-competitive youth kickball league! Teams will practice
twice then play a six-game season. Games will be 50 minutes and teams will play
as many innings as time permits. Age as of December 31, 2024.
