Located on Route 301 in Newburg, the Crain Memorial
Welcome Center is the perfect place to pull over and plan
your Charles County adventures. The staff will help create
your ideal itinerary with maps, brochures, and insider tips,
while the illustrative exhibits showcasing area attractions will
fuel your excitement for your stay. There is an ATM on site
available during operating hours. The restrooms are open
from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A car charging station is available
in the parking lot on a first-come, first-served basis.
An easy drive from major attractions in
Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia,
Charles County is an excellent destination for
a variety of stays, from group tours, meetings,
reunions, day trips, and overnight visits.
The Welcome Center is open every day of the week from 8:30
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hours of operation are subject to change
due to weather and/or Charles County Government closures.
