Maryland State Connected Devices Program

for Children, Youth, and Families
/ Local Management Board is a
grant program designed to assist in
digital equit y and inclusion ef forts in
Mar yland. The program provides new,
internet-enabled devices to families
most at need.
Charles Count y Government received t wo rounds of funding
from the Mar yland Of fice of Statewide Broadband. The program provided
FREE Chromebook devices to eligible, low-income households, earning
under 200% of federal povert y threshold.

Universit y of Mar yland Extension. Recipients

with disabilities were ser ved.
