DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
During fiscal 2023, Infrastructure Management's capital
projects team made remarkable strides in infrastructure
development, with the Residential Drainage Improvement
Program. This ef for t was bolstered by the compilation of
109 projects requiring rehabilitation, all situated on private
propert y.
To effectively allocate our design resources, we planned and
prioritized these projects in collaboration with a third-party
consultant, Biohabitats. Their evaluation and ranking process ensured that our resources were strategically directed
towards the most critical areas, facilitating ef ficient and
impact ful improvements. These accomplishments, rooted
in ex tensive planning and collaborative ef for ts, propel us
toward a more sustainable and prosperous future for all
residents of Charles Count y.
