The Cambria County Veterans
Memorial Trail was created to
recognize the many War Heroes
from Cambria County. Dozens
of unique monuments and
memorials have been placed in all
corners of the county in honor of
those who have served, currently
serve, and the many who made
the ultimate sacrifice.
A full map and descriptions of
locations can be found on the Visit
Johnstown website. Brochures are
also available and can be requested
and sent by mail or picked up at
the Visit Johnstown administrative
office in Downtown Johnstown.

The Veterans Memorial Museum,
located inside the Cambria County
War Memorial, displays impressive
pieces of American History. A variety
of uniforms, medals, photography and
more are proudly displayed in the newly
renovated annex. Outside of the arena
are beautiful monuments that honor
Veterans of all wars, POW-MIA, and
former Congressman, John P. Murtha. For
operating hours of the Veterans Memorial
Museum, call the arena.
GRANDVIEW CEMETERY
801 Millcreek Rd., Johnstown, PA 15905
One of Pennsylvania’s largest cemeteries,
Grandview Cemetery is also the resting
place to a number of military heroes.
Notable landmarks include: Grand Army
of the Republic Memorial, gravesite of
World War II Fighter Ace, Boyd D. “Buzz”
Wagner, Private Gerald Horner statue,
and the George W. Reed gravesite. For
