swimming, kayaking, and fishing... or just
a great place to hang out and watch the
river fun! Open April through October.
No fees, but safety regulations are posted.

86 river miles of paddling along
the borders of Somerset, Cambria,
Westmoreland, Indiana and Armstrong
Counties in southwestern Pennsylvania.
The Kiski-Conemaugh is a good novice
and family canoe and kayak river.
The most prominent features include
the Conemaugh Gorge, just west of
Johnstown, Packsaddle Gap, and nearby
bike trails and historic communities.
Elements of the Allegheny Portage
Railroad remain along the entire length
of the trail, some visible only at low
