PAVE Scholarship and
Mentorship Experience
PAVE (Planning and Visual Education) is an educational foundation that
supports students studying in the 昀椀eld of retail design and planning and
visual merchandising, helping the design industry grow its talent pool
and fostering professional development. To help advance its mission,
PAVE created a Student Scholarship Program that has awarded over
$250,000 in 昀椀nancial grants and scholarships over the past three years.
Bergmeyer has sponsored a PAVE Scholarship since 2016. The annual
Bergmeyer x PAVE Scholarship and Mentorship Experience recognizes
and supports leadership potential in interior design, industrial design,
architecture, and graphic design through a $1,500 scholarship and an
opportunity for a promising young design student to take part in an
immersive in-person learning and mentorship experience at Bergmeyer.

In 2023, drawing applicants from colleges and universities across
the United States, the 7th annual Bergmeyer x PAVE Scholarship and
Mentorship Experience was awarded to Parker Blessing of Florida State
University. Parker was selected speci昀椀cally because of their sensitivity
and intent of their design work which conveys an authentic concern for
the user, providing a customer journey complete with distinctive
and meaningful experiences.
