Bergmeyer | 2022 Corporate Social Responsibility Report
Boston’s Dearborn STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Math) Academy is a Boston Public
School, a Science, Technology, Engineering, and
Mathematics school, and a BPE Teaching Academy
serving grades 6-12. Their mission is “to graduate
students with the 21st century skills required for
college and career success, prepared to serve as
thoughtful, engaged citizens, who contribute to the
health, vibrancy, and development of their community.”

In 2022, Bergmeyer became an Industry Council member
with Dearborn STEM, finding different opportunities to
engage with their students in workforce development
experiences and support their mission. In April 2022, two
students came to Bergmeyer for a career “shadow day”;
in November, two Bergies, Lisa Statkiewicz and Nicolette
Gordon, went to Dearborn to participate in a “Capstone
Review Day” with their students.
