or weekend hours, we ask for your

TRASH:
Trash is picked up at the homes.
Because trash is picked up midweek
and Saturdays, please make sure you
put your trash out periodically during
your stay rather than all at once
before you depart. Each home has a
trash pickup area outside. You do not
need to put your trash at the curb, but
please put it in plastic bags and place
the bags inside the trash cans where
appropriate. All oceanfront villas will
have trash chutes in the hallways. All
other villas have a service area beside
or behind the building.
RECYCLING:
Property specific recycling information can be found in your property as
this information varies in each home/
complex. You can always take your
items to the Hilton Head Recycling
Center on Dillon Road. This location
recycles glass, aluminum cans, magazines and newspapers. They are open
7am–7pm, six days a week (closed on
Wednesdays). You can contact them
at 843-681-3731.
REFRIGERATORS:
Refrigerators are one of the most
commonly reported maintenance
problems. Please do not overload the
refrigerator or freezer with warm food
and drinks. Please leave the dials
set at C-5 (midrange). Changing the
setting may close the damper, which
will stop air from circulating in the
refrigerator, and only cool the freezer.
Also, please keep the doors closed as
much as possible. It can take 24-48
hours for the refrigerator to get back
on track.
