South Africa was founded,
working in communities
of Umlazi, Lamontville,
Durban City, and
Durban North.
Official launch of the
City-Wide Tournament
and of programming in
Umbumbulu.
Playing for Peace
South Africa is officially
registered with the
Department of Social
Development and is
launched in the
communities
of Chatsworth,
Wentworth, and Molweni.
Implemented
HIV/AIDS
prevention
curriculum into
the Life Skills
Program.
Official name change
to PeacePlayers
South Africa.
2001-2007
Serving over 3,500
participants, each school
had four teams (two boys
and two girls teams) per
grade from grade 6 to
grade 7, delivering the
Life Skills curriculum to
participants.
