GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY’S SCHOOL FOR
CONFLICT RESOLUTION’S PEACE WEEK
“Attending the George Mason event in Washington
DC was a great experience because I went with a
special kind of group. Multiple PeacePlayers from
different sites came together for this day. It was
a unique experience because we led some teambuilding drills, as well as participated in them with the
Women’s and Men’s basketball team. Not only was it
a fun experience, but at the end of the drills we had a
panel with the Dean of the conflict resolution Masters
program and representatives from each site gave their
perspectives and experience since joining PeacePlayers.
I personally was moved seeing how many people
were interested in what we do and how this amazing
organization bridges divides and brings people that are
in conflict together.”
