Last month, Julia from PeacePlayers Brooklyn and
Nathan from PeacePlayers South Africa, both 2022
Friendship Games participants, met for lunch in New
York City while Nathan was traveling there! After all
of the time they spent getting to know each other in
the Middle East during the Friendship Games, it was
only natural that Nathan and Julia would hang out
again in person if they got the chance.
“I look back on it and I just have such happy memories.
I met up with Julia in New York and that was purely
based on Friendship Games. If we only had a digital
Friendship Games, this wouldn’t have happened
because we just got so close in real life, in person.”
