20 YEARS AND BEYOND
CYPRUS
What an amazing journey it has been so far in Cyprus, seeing our amazing youth come together and
grow up together in a way that would have been unthinkable decades ago.
I HOPE THAT THIS CONTINUES. I HOPE THAT OUR ALUMNI CONTINUE TO PLAY AN ACTIVE ROLE AND TEACH OUR YOUNGER
NEWER PARTICIPANTS THAT THIS WORKS, THIS PEACEPLAYERS MAGIC WORKS. AND IT IS MAGIC…AND A LOT OF
HARD WORK, DETERMINATION AND BELIEF.
It is parents trusting in us as an organization with their children. It is youth believing in a better,
more peaceful world. It is a team that works together within local communities, breaking down
barriers and years of conflict-built infrastructure. I hope that in the next 20 years, our young change
makers become the key decision makers, making the necessary systemic changes; continuing to
prove that children who play together really can learn to live together.
