and more.
When it comes to playgrounds, our company invented and patented a design that retrofits existing equipment with obstacle-free
playground shades. Without shade, playgrounds can reach more than 150 degrees in direct sunlight. We also provide unique and
custom shade options for small and large aquatic centers.
Large shades, such as Apollo Sunguard Titan, are specifically designed to cover large open areas, such as a basketball court, without
compromising playable space. Plus, our sport shades offer added protection against foul balls.
Adding shade will reduce the risk of sunburn, overheating and other heat-related injuries. Through biomimicry, Apollo Sunguard’s
shade structures are designed to promote air circulation, just like natural tree canopies, while reducing temperatures underneath by
up to 20 degrees. Apollo Sunguard’s Shade Cloth is made with durable high-density polyethylene material with ultraviolet additives
that block up to 96 percent of the sun’s UV rays.
