CHAINSAW FILES
■ American pattern, round chainsaw file for sharpening the teeth of any
chainsaw blade
■ Tighten tension on the chainsaw's chain to firmly support cutting edge for filing
■ File from the inside to the outside of the cutter
■ Place file against beveled cutting surface of teeth at an angle of 20° to 45° with saw
■ Sharpen all left-hand cutters on one side of chain
■ Then move to the other side and file all the right-hand cutters
■ We recommend that you check the depth gauge height every 2 or 3 sharpening's
■ Height between cutting teeth and depth gauge ranges between .020" to .030"
■ Round shaped file with a knurled cut for more aggressive sharpening
