RESIDENCE HALL ASSOCIATION (RHA)
RHA is the student government and student voice for the
2,100 residents living on-campus at North Village. RHA is
committed to developing leadership, honoring diversity, and
recognizing achievement, as well as stimulating engagement
and involvement among students who reside in the residence
halls. RHA coordinates a variety of open forums and events
throughout the year providing residents with opportunities to
engage intellectually and connect socially to their community.
NATIONAL RESIDENCE HALL HONORARY
(NRHH)
NRHH at Sacramento State is also named the Hornet Chapter.
NRHH is comprised of current and/or prior residential members
of the residential community here at Sacramento State. NRHH
programs develop leaders, serve as advocates, and promote
service and recognition within the residential community and
beyond. NRHH recognizes the hard work happening in the
residence halls through the Of the Month (OTM) recognition

HALL COUNCILS (HC)
Every residence hall has its own Hall Council at North Village
which folds under the RHA umbrella. Hall councils are a great
way to develop leadership skills and become involved within
the residence hall community. Hall Councils help coordinate
events, hold meetings and increase school spirit and pride.
Hall Councils also have voting rights within RHA. They provide
a valuable opportunity to develop leadership skills.
