This program can provide the information you need to learn more about your student’s housing options, safety,
transportation, class registration, and engagement opportunities. The Parent & Families Program also supports
pregnant and parenting students through their journey by connecting them to peer mentorship, academic support,
low-cost childcare grants, and services through Hornet Family Study Care.
CARES & PARENTS
The Parents and Families program provides communications, events, customer service, and community for
parents, family members, and supporters of enrolled Sac State students. The transition from high school to
college is a huge change; we are here to help you and support your students as you both learn the systems and
processes at work on our campus.
