“ My open letter to thank Abbott House,
I thank God because He allowed me to participate and work as a Foster
Parent for Abbott House for a long time. I learned from the agency’s
classes, programs, workers, supervisors and doctors, but especially
from the kids that came to my home for me to take care of, protect and
give lots of love. With the children, I learned how to do my job well
as a foster parent: with lots of love and pampering. And, the agency
supports, helps and trains you, so you can learn to understand our
children in every problem and every “headache” –yes, headache!because it’s not an easy job. But, if you do it with love, God will reward
you and there will never be a shortage in your home, I’m telling you.
So, don’t be afraid to open your home.”
