These programs also host an annual interprofessionaleducation and practice day, with over 400 AHC student participants, and support 30+ team-based and interdisciplinary educational eventsannually. As an AHC, UNLV is championing innovative approaches tomental and behavioral health, as well as physical well-being. This isdemonstrated through our two community/school-based healthcareclinics established through a UNLV Health and Clark County SchoolDistrict partnership; our three UNLV community mental health trainingclinics, including the school of medicine9s center for individual, coupleand family counseling; and the newly launched UNLV CommunityClinic, established as a partnership between the school of medicineand the Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada. The UNLV AHC continues to establish itself in the community andis currently re-establishing a cleft palate and craniofacial team, expanding healthcare programs and graduate medical educationopportunities, offering more collaboration opportunities, andincreasing interdisciplinary research. To have an AHC at UNLV is not only good for the university, it is goodfor the community and all of Nevada.13
