I help families, especially
refugees, who do not speak
English and do not read and
write. One family I worked with
was a single mom with three
children. She does not read or
write and couldn’t go to work
because her children had to
stay home and learn virtually.
Then she got COVID. So we
helped her with applications
and trying to gather the
information she needed. She
was very grateful for the help
and our work.”
