Last October, we were cock-a-hoop to add a brand-new member
to our pub family: The Huntsman. It’s a 13th-century inn set in the
beautiful New Forest village of Brockenhurst. And we’re delighted
to welcome Ann and Charlie, who have proudly run the pub for
25 years.
We’re always preening and titivating our pubs, so they’re in
昀椀ne fettle for your stay. The Bridge in Chertsey has just had its
ground-昀氀oor rooms spruced up, and they’re looking ravishing.
It’s said that the Dog & Fox was originally commissioned by Earl
Spencer in the late 1700s. Hence, it seemed only 昀椀tting that the
interior revamp had a touch of opulence with a rich palette of
colours, lavish lighting and posh 昀椀reside seating. Outdoors, we’ve
gone all out with planting and adding smart new furniture to the
two terraces.
Brewer’s Inn is one of the original 昀椀ve Young’s pubs. So, when
it came to refurb time, we wanted to re昀氀ect its roots as the
traditional heart of the Wandsworth village community.
Walk in now, and you will be greeted by sumptuous booths,
lounge furniture, and beautiful hand-etched glass that celebrates
the pub’s noble London heritage. If watching sport is your bag,
you’ll love the new larger HD screens.
