Foreword
The past 12 months since our 昀椀rst ‘Lifting the Lid’ report has seen a continuation,
and in some cases – an escalation – of challenges faced including geopolitical
issues, sky-high energy bills, supply chain disruption and labour shortages,
to name just a few. The role is becoming even more complex, and against
a backdrop of time constraints, dwindling budgets, and increased workload
and stress levels, it raises many questions about the changing priorities and
challenges of the FM professional.
