Windsor Guildhall
Iconic, ceremony venue
Located near Windsor Castle in Berkshire, The
Windsor Guildhall is a stunning private hire venue
ideal for weddings and civil partnerships. We were
the chosen wedding venue of Their Majesties King
Charles III and Queen Camilla in 2005. Sir Elton
John and David Furnish opted to host their civil
partnership ceremony here on the first day the
ceremonies became legal in England and Wales.
You and your guests will feel like royalty in this
unique venue.
The Council Chamber ceremony room is available
for hire for 60 minutes for a standard ceremony or
you can choose to extend your stay for photographs,
a drinks reception for up to 100 guests or a wedding
breakfast for up to 80 guests, choosing from a
range of local caterers to suit your tastes.
The ceremony room has plenty of natural
daylight and is surrounded by royal portraits
from the last five centuries. The space is lit by
glittering chandeliers from the Royal Collection
Trust on behalf of the monarch. We host events
all year round and you’ll find plenty of incredible
photo opportunities within the building and
sheltered outdoor spaces so that you won’t be at the
mercy of the British weather on your special day.
The Guildhall is a popular choice for those
opting for a small, intimate ceremony with their
nearest and dearest as well as those looking to
accommodate larger guest parties. Our central
Windsor location gives many options to combine
your ceremony with other local hotels, restaurants,
or even a river cruise on the River Thames.
