Naming Ceremonies
Celebrate your new addition with a
naming ceremony, which is offered as
a wonderful personal alternative to a
baptism or christening. We welcome
families with children of all ages, and
could celebrate a new baby or older
child, or a welcome much loved
adopted child, or stepchild, or multiple
children in the family.
Naming ceremonies require no
legalities, so can take place anywhere
in the Royal Borough, at our Register
Office, one of our beautiful venues or
anywhere you choose that is suitable,
including at your home. If you choose
to hold your event at a venue, please
make sure they are available and then
contact us to book your celebrant.
You can include promises, guide
parents, grandparents, music, readings
and presentation of gifts, a certificate
signing or any elements you choose.
We will work with you to ensure we
deliver the perfect ceremony that is
personalised for your family.
