Outdoor Ceremonies
The edge of a river, a wildflower meadow,
a walled garden, an island estate in the
middle of the river, the private grounds of
a rustic barn – these are just some of the
amazing outdoor locations you can legally
marry or form a civil partnership in the
Royal Borough.
Since 2022, it is now possible to marry
outdoors anywhere in the grounds of a
licensed venue. If the outdoor space you
have dreamt of for your ceremony is not
attached to a licensed venue, please see
page 20 for information about our bespoke
celebration ceremonies, which we could
combine with a legal ceremony at
another time.
