upReach Alumni gain access to
our Alumni platform, can attend
exclusive events and participate
in a professional development
coaching series.
We encourage graduate employers to consider the
context in which their applicants achieved their ALevel grades by using REALrating, our contextual
recruitment tool that considers fourteen indicators
of socio-economic disadvantage to provide
contextualised A-level grades. This enables
employers to see the potential in candidates missed
out through traditional screening.

We recognise outstanding achievements attained by
students from low socio-economic backgrounds at our
Student Social Mobility Awards, and celebrate
individuals and organisations supporting social
mobility. The Ceremony takes place annually at the
House of Lords.

This online platform allows upReach Associates to have
direct access to industry professionals and ‘Ask an Expert’
a question, book a ‘Career Chat’ or Mock Interview. It aims
to provide a network similar to the one that those from
more privileged backgrounds have access to.
