The predominance of top earners amongst upReach Associates means this gap in average
salaries increased when mean salary is considered. upReach Associates employed in highly
skilled full time employment earned a mean salary of £32,750, compared to a mean salary of
£28,000 amongst graduates from a similar academic and socio-economic background.
Graduate Outcomes Amongst Graduates from Lower NS-SEC backgrounds
These differences are most pronounced when comparing upReach Associates and graduates
from NS-SEC classes 5-8 (lower supervisory & technical occupations, semi-routine, routine and
never having worked/long term unemployed).
For instance, upReach Associates in full time employment from these classes entered highly
skilled roles at a rate that was 18 percentage points higher than their peers. 14
