Why Thomas Telford UTC?

“St. Modwen Homes are an established Employer Partner to Thomas Telford UTC. We support them in a number
of ways across all year groups with curriculum and project support, but I feel we add most value in suppor ng
placements for the T level students. We have supported placements since the beginning, with the students
comple ng the placement hours on site within Commercial Quan ty Surveying and Site Management. This
prac cal work placement supports the academic learnings and vitally gives the students real life experience they
can take forward a er their educa on. The students integrated themselves really well and have become valued
members of the team. We’ve relished having the students from UTC and look forward to welcoming the next
cohort to our sites soon.”
