The impactWorking in partnershipIn 2022/23, we partnered with 156 schools and othereducation settings across Greater Manchester, WestYorkshire and Merseyside. Most of these schoolsprimarily serve lower-income communities, witha higher-than-average percentage of their pupilcohort attracting Pupil Premium funding.As well as our tutors, our school partnersare also very positive about their experienceworking with our team. With over halfthe sta昀昀 at Tutor Trust having been eitherteachers or having previously tutoredwith us, the team understand schoolsand the pressures facing school leaders.With schools dealing with a uniquelychallenging set of circumstances, we seekto make running an e昀昀ective tutoringprogramme with us as easy as possible.A professional serviceWe know tutoring. We’ve been partneringwith schools to deliver tutoring for 12years, and, during that time, we’ve learneda lot about how to set up an e昀昀ectiveprogramme. We work 昀氀exibly with schoolsto set up tutoring programmes that 昀椀taround particular timetable constraints,that maximise pupil attendance whileminimising the impact on other subjects,and that are likely to lead to real gainsin learning.We also know the NTP and can o昀昀erguidance to schools around fundingand completion of termly census data andthe year-end statement.
