Saturday driving around
Surrey (the weekend before
ULEZ kicked in!) hun}ng
clues and compe}ng to 昀椀nd
all the answers.
As we moved into
September, we thought to
try something new. 47
members descended on the
Clubhouse on one Friday
evening in September to put
together a show, from
scratch, in 24 hours. Come
Saturday night, aver 4am
singing rehearsals in the
changing rooms and much
ca昀昀eine in the Snug
throughout, our audience
were blown away by the
produc}on that was put
together in front of them.
Whilst it did require about 3
weeks9 rest averwards it9s
de昀椀nitely one event that
will be back on our calendar
in the future!
As autumn leaves fell
around us we had yet more
nights of hilarity at the Club,
with a Play Reading evening
in October full of comical
monologues and sketches,
and we lit up the sky in
November with added
昀椀reworks during our annual
quiz night.
Sadly, all good things must
come to an end and
December saw us wrapping
up with a post-Christmas
party to celebrate the
phenomenal year we had.
We9ll see you in 2073 for
our 100th!
