As well as increasing awareness of equity diversity and inclusion issues across the
organisation, employers should seek direct feedback and perspectives from underrepresented
young people on how their career offer and application process is perceived and can be
enhanced to help attract other people like them. The Brokerage has run a number of focus
groups with young people on behalf of our corporate partners, and the insights they have
provided have led to changes that will enhance those organisations’ ability to attract and retain
underrepresented talent.
