Hepassed away peacefully at home in May 2023.Growing our network of supportersDuring 2023/24, we recruited over 2,000 new regulardonors from King’s hospitals and the surrounding areas. This vital, long-term source of unrestricted incomeenables us to direct funds wherever the need is greatest. The King’s Lottery started in November 2021 and hasproven very popular. We recently received a new licencefrom the Gambling Commission that will enable us tocontinue to grow this valuable income stream.Nat wanted to show her thanks to King’s for everythingthey did for her grandad during his last few weeks andthe Great Hospital Hike was the perfect way to do thatwhile honouring his memory.Every step I took was in memory of mygrandad as he didn’t mind a long walkhimself! I got to meet fellow walkerswho all had a story – of loss or ofsurviving something. While walkingI enjoyed listening to their stories butalso the atmosphere of all of us beingthere together.”– Nat, fundraiser and Great Hospital HikerWe continued to expand our events programme, entering a team of 87 into the London Landmarks HalfMarathon (LLHM).
